Llamas have wonderous fiber that has valuable qualities not found in man-made or many other natural fibers.
Unlike sheeps wool, llama fiber has no lanolin so it will not make you itch.
The cuticle of the fiber
is also much smoother than wool resulting in yarn
that can be comfortably worn next to the skin.
It is a hollow fiber,
so is lightweight while being abundantly warm. It has many naturally occuring colors,
but also takes dye beautifully.
Our llama fiber is available as rovings, felted batts
and handspun yarn as well as finished products.
